Jalal Kalmoni
Group Chairman
Salem Kalmoni
Managing Director
Third Generation Kalmoni, born in Ghana, educated in Canada, joined the company in 1991 after completing his studies in Canada. He has been at the helm of affairs of the company ever since. His passion for growth of the family business has led to a significant growth and development of the company’s fortunes including the expansion of the business in Ghana as well as West Africa. Mr. Salem Kalmoni is also a board member of several Non-Profit Organizations.
Nouhad Kalmoni
Executive Director
Also a third generation Kalmoni, born in Ghana, educated in Canada, joined the company in 1995 after completing his studies in Canada. He was responsible for building the Mercedes Benz business in Ghana since the 1990s as well as being a member of the Kalmoni Group Board of Directors. Currently serving as the Group Executive Director with responsibility for Sales & Marketing of all the brands across West Africa.

Our management team consists of a vibrant mix of young and not-so-young individuals whose combined academic preparations; career background and expertise cover Accounting and Business, Engineering, Economics and Finance, mathematics and Marketing, Physical and Biological Sciences.
These individuals are motivated by a common desire to build Japan Motors Trading Company Limited into a strong, reputable private company that will inspire pride in the hearts of its employees, and capable of serving the expanding economy of Ghana.

Mohammed R. Byrouthys forty years of experience in Service Management and Warranty Operations won him the award of Africa Service Manager of the Year and JMTC as Africa Champion in the 2017-18 Global Technical Contest (NISTEC) and best Nissan Aftersales NSC in Sub Saharan Africa. He Heads the Service and Parts Departments for their profitable operations as well as customer and staff satisfaction achievements.
Hazem Chalabi
Gen. Manager – Aftersales
Hazem Chalabi is currently the Assistant Managing Director of Japan Motors and holds a BA in Law. He has 14 years of experience in the automotive industry in Ghana holding positions of Human Resources Manager and then General Manager After-Sales at Silver Star Auto Limited before joining Japan Motors in his current position.”

Financial Controller
A Dynamic Finance professional with over 20years experience in West African Business. Currently holding a Professional Membership from CIMA (UK ), ICAI (India ) and MBA (CEIBS ). Specialized in Financial strategy and Business development. He works with the Directors and stakeholders by providing latest framework and models required in the industry. A Sustainable and well-regulated business development is His ultimate goal.

A highly driven, very dynamic and skilled automotive professional, with fourteen (14) years of experience in managing dealership operations, negotiation with suppliers, developping and executing Sales and Marketing Strategies. My academic background includes master's degree in Business Administration and International Trade, further enhancing my skill set. My commitment to excellence and passion for innovation fuel my contributions to every endeavor.

Adobea Asiama-Aboagye is a result oriented and self-motivated manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She has appreciable exposure and knowledge in international trade, shipping & logistics and customs procedures in Ghana. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration- Finance with 9 years’ experience in general management and 11 years’ experience as a Shipping manager. As Branch Manager- Tema, she has oversight responsibility of Sales, Aftersales, Shipping & Logistics.

Wassim is an experienced and self-motivated sales manager with over 15years of industry experience. A chartered marketer with CIM-UK (MCIM) and holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School. He is a proud member of Rotary International and Humanity First both worldwide humanitarian NGOs.
Rahaman Osman
Foton Sales Manager
Mr. Abdul-Rahaman Osman holds an MBA in Marketing from University of Ghana Business School. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and a holder of Professional Diploma Certificate in Marketing CIM-UK. He has in the last 16 years contributed significantly to the success of introducing the Foton Brand into the Ghanaian Automobile Market which now holds the number two-market share position in the Light Duty Commercial Trucks segment.

Aaron Magnusen is a chartered accountant with 16years work experience. He is result oriented, an ambitious team player and a dynamic professional. He joined Japan motors in 2005 working in the Audit Department and rose through the ranks. He is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate of UCC and currently pursuing CIT and ACCA.

Imports Manager
He heads the Import Department and oversees all import activities in the company including import financing. He is been in this role for the past 9 years.
Abubakari Amadu
Parts Manager
BSc. (Hons) Mathematics, Dip. ED, CIMA II, MSC Supply Chain Management. Has over 20 years’ experience in Inventory Management with numerous International Aftersales Awards from NML.
Micheal Paintsil
Internal Audit Manager
Michael is a Chartered Accountant and has over 12 years experience in Auditing. His role involves evaluating the effectiveness of the existing controls, perform procedures to identify weaknesses and develop new internal controls aimed at minimizing risk, supervises audit assignment and report findings to the Managing Director.
